This Privacy Policy applies to the Sight Keys mobile application ("Sight Keys", "the app", "we", "our", or "us").

2. What We Access and Why

Microphone access

Sight Keys can use your device microphone to detect musical notes while you play. This feature is optional and only available when you use the premium microphone-based functionality.

• Microphone audio is processed in real time on your device.
• We do not store audio recordings.
• We do not send microphone audio to our servers.
• You can deny or revoke microphone permission at any time in your device settings.

On-device app data

Sight Keys stores certain app data locally on your device so the app can work properly.

• Practice progress and completion state
• App settings and preferences
• Local premium/ad state needed for app behavior

In-app purchase data

Sight Keys offers a one-time premium purchase through Apple App Store and Google Play. Those stores process payment and transaction data. Sight Keys treats the relevant store APIs as the source of truth for premium entitlement.

Advertising data

Free users may see ads after certain sessions. Ads are provided through Google AdMob. AdMob may process data such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, and diagnostics in accordance with Google's policies.

3. What We Do Not Collect Through Our Own Servers

Sight Keys does not run its own backend for user accounts, analytics, cloud save, or audio upload. We do not collect or store the following on our own servers:

• Name
• Email address inside the app
• Phone number
• Contacts
• Photos or files
• Location data
• Audio recordings
• Cloud-hosted profile or progress history

4. Third Parties That May Process Data

Sight Keys uses a limited number of third-party services:

Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy, Google AdMob Privacy, and Apple Privacy Policy.

5. How We Use Data

• To provide music-learning features and save your progress locally on your device
• To let premium users unlock paid features through the relevant app store
• To show ads to free users
• To respond if you contact us by email

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your microphone audio for advertising, profiling, or training purposes.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Most Sight Keys data is stored locally on your device and remains there until you delete the app or clear the app's data, subject to how your operating system and app store manage purchase records.

• Local app data: kept on your device until you remove the app or clear app data
• Microphone audio: not retained by us
• Store purchase records: retained by Apple or Google under their own policies
• Ad-related data: handled by Google AdMob under Google's policies
• Email inquiries: retained only as needed to respond and maintain correspondence

7. Your Choices

• You can deny microphone permission or turn it off later in device settings.
• You can stop using ads by purchasing premium.
• You can delete local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.

8. Children's Privacy

Sight Keys is a music-learning app for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information through our own servers from children or adults. If you believe you contacted us or shared information with us by mistake, email us and we will review the request.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of Sight Keys after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
